On this Virgo Moon Monday we could spend the whole day moving and not accomplish a dang thing, maybe we’re just anxious, grumpy and critical or maybe today we’re absorbed into an emotional crisis. With the Mercury/Jupiter aspect it could bring in a very self focused energy into our emotional experience, but with Mercury entering it’s shadow period we’re going to revisit these feelings and learn more about them throughout the next month. Give some attention to your inner workings today, how do you feel and what do you feel. Trust the plan and the process and don’t be too hard on yourself today!

As we start today with both Moon and Mars in Virgo we could be energized or overwhelmed by our to-do lists, that constant feeling that something is wrong or maybe just obsessing about the current crisis. We could be dealing with guilt and our own inner nay-sayer, the one that says you’re too behind to start or that there’s too much to do and you just don’t know where to begin. We can loose sight of the big picture when we focus on one tiny moving part, not everything is gunna get fixed or work out today. As the Moon enters Libra in the evening our crisis could instead us into some emotional extremes or maybe we become more open to getting other perspectives, crawling outa the immediacy of our issue to find a more balanced approach or maybe you just want some connection, to feel heard and understood and accepted; mess and all. It’s could also switch the focus from “all of these things are wrong with me and my life” to focusing on “all the things wrong with you and your life.” Patience, grounding and acceptance are helpful ideas and feeling to keep in mind today.

So Mercury in Leo is learning about our creative potential, our purpose, our lust for life, our vitality. In this sandwich between Jupiter and Mars it’s figuring out where are self-exploration journey is taking us while also surrendering to the fact that we need to make adjustments and there room for improvement. Or we could just feel stuck and depressed; in those moments maybe go for a walk, change up the daily routine, think about all the trials and crisis’ that you’ve made it through, remember your perseverance, remember what brought you joy as a child, find that inner spark. As we continue our emotional journeys throughout Jupiter’s time in Cancer, Venus rules today’s Libra moon and it is Venus’ last full day in Taurus and she is also in Balsamic conjunction to Uranus. So today we could be navigating feelings of anxiety, restlessness, trauma, insecurity, instability and of wanting to just break out and break free. These feelings today are infighting the emotional pilgrimage to discover our personal truth and emotional authenticity. As the only major lunar aspect is the opposition to Chiron, maybe today our relationships (to others AND ourselves) are the foundation for us to initiate and integrate this emotional experience. Maybe today we talk a risk and find the courage to be emotionally honest with ourselves, about our fears and what’s holding us back, about our desires and instincts and needs, about our beliefs concerning “right and wrong” “bad and good”.

With Venus conjunct Uranus at the last degree of Taurus this brings a potent Liberation energy. Venus in Taurus is representative of our relationship to our selves as well as our attachments to what is known, our value of continuity. It’s also about survival, maybe we thought we needed x, y and z to survive but really those are things we have outgrown. Uranus is the great liberator, very synonymous with the Tower energy; breaking us out of our fixed way. It can be sudden, upsetting or even traumatizing change or it’s the lightning bolt “Ah-Ha” moment when something just clicks inside of us. Lord knows we been feeling this energy bubbling up for weeks, feeling restless and electric in our bodies. This transit is about finding freedom from the way we’ve been conditioned to know, love, value ourselves; it’s about entering this new cycle where we can explore outside our comfort zones, to grow.
Then Venus enters Gemini. Venus in Taurus is introverted and wanted safety, security, continuity but in Gemini she is extroverted and curious. It’s a vibe change where we’re more open to the diversity of life’s experiences and more adaptable to change.
With the Moon being in Scorpio today and making major aspects to Pluto and Jupiter I expect today to through us for a loop and make us face the psychological depths of our fears and insecurities, pushed or nudged into facing our truths and evolving. Only lunar aspects today signaling an emotional integration of this week’s crisis or adventures. Big or small we’ve all been guided into growth the past week. It being a Saturns day, we could be feeling the heavy weight of our physical/mental/emotional boundaries and limitations, just pure depression.Maybe it’s the weight of our immaturity, or our fear of being in charge and taking up space. And especially with Neptune stationing rx yesterday eve, maybe it’s disillusionment as well, our structures have lost meaning and we’re losing faith. It’s easy to just keep putting time and energy into trivial tasks to avoid the deep feelings; in fact our society values physical/manual work and labor over inner work. But that’s part of the process, discriminating between our truth and what we’ve been conditioned to believe. With all the Liberation energy this week it might feel selfish to leave that unfulfilling job or relationship but it might be just the thing you need. Are you doing this because it’s what you desire or because it’s what you feel is expected of you?
